This is also applicable when a cow has borne a calf. Give her the same words to swallow; and when she has the fever, hang the letters round her neck, on a Friday, between the hours of 11 and 12, and let her take, three days in succession, such a letter, before eating anything else, in the morning at an uneven hour. Repeat eight days in succession. Probatum.
